What this is about

A bank account in Panama — cleanly prepared.

Many German private individuals and companies are currently interested in a bank account in Panama. The process is generally possible, but not automatic. What matters is whether the documents are complete, traceable and ready for the bank's review.

That is exactly where my service comes in. I support German clients in preparing for a bank account opening in Panama. This is not about quick promises, but about a structured review, clean documents and a clear preparation for the banking process.

Important: The account opening is always subject to the bank's review. There is no guarantee of an account opening. The bank decides based on documents, source of funds and its own compliance requirements.

Who this is for

Who can have an account prepared?

Private individuals

From Germany, with a traceable source of income.

Account types

Which account models can be prepared

Which account type makes sense depends on the purpose, the planned use, the minimum deposit and the bank's review.

Initial deposit & money transfer

How the first deposit works

International transfers from Germany to Panama can take time. Therefore it is clarified in advance how the first deposit can be made in practice.

  • Direct transfer from the client's German account
  • Deposit after the account has been opened
  • Transfer following the bank's instructions
  • Clarification of an admissible interim solution

If the bank explicitly confirms that an initial deposit via my account in Panama is permitted, this option can be considered case-by-case. In that scenario, the client transfers the amount to me and I forward it according to the bank's instructions.

Important: Such a solution only takes place if it has been clarified with the bank in advance and is explicitly permitted. Every payment must be traceable and consistent with the client's documented source of funds.

Credit & bank card

What is clarified about the card in advance

Whether and when a credit card is possible depends on the bank's review and the respective conditions. The following points are clarified in advance so that no false expectations arise:

  • Whether a credit card can be applied for directly
  • Whether a balance must first sit on the account
  • How high that balance must be
  • How long the balance must remain on the account
  • Whether a debit or credit card will be issued
  • Whether the card can be shipped to Germany
  • Whether personal pick-up is required
  • Whether delivery within Panama is possible

The process

From initial review to the account opening

  1. 01

    Initial assessment

Review whether opening an account fits your situation. Residence, goal, source of income, documents, intended use.

  2. 02

    Document checklist

Concrete overview of all required documents. Missing documents clearly named.

  3. 03

    Preparing the documents

Collect, organise and prepare documents for translation where necessary.

  4. 04

Source of funds — clean presentation

Income, company profits, sales, dividends, rental income or other sources are cleanly documented.

  5. 05

    Bank appointment — fully remote

Coordination and support of the appointment via online meeting. No personal presence in Panama required.

  6. 06

    Bank review

The bank reviews documents, identity, source of funds and intended use.

  7. 07

    Account opening & next steps

After a successful review the bank decides. Afterwards: clarification of card issuance, deposit, transfer and account usage.

Clear boundaries

What I explicitly do not promise

  • No guarantee of account opening
  • No circumvention of bank requirements
  • No anonymous accounts
  • No tax avoidance advice
  • No opening without a traceable source of funds
  • No acceptance of unclear or risky money sources
  • No guarantee of a credit card
  • No guarantee of specific processing times
  • No guarantee of stable interest rates or conditions

Why preparation matters

First structure. Then document. Then appointment.

Opening an account in Panama rarely fails on a single form. It usually fails on unclear documents, missing evidence or a non-traceable source of funds.

  • Less chaos in the process
  • Fewer follow-up questions from the bank
  • Better-prepared documents
  • Clearer communication with the bank
  • Realistic assessment before the process starts
